Death and faxes

Wow...just wow. What a long week. Scott and I got nailed Saturday night on our way home. We're okay but the insurance is talking totaled. It was only like 10mph, but she tagged us right on the front tire at the perfect angle to bend our axle. I was really wrecked over it (snort) but considering how many people die in LA in traffic accidents I'm lucky to get off this light. It helps to think of that. I've been faxing receipts, and dealing with the collision place. :o( Kirsten's other cat just died tonight, almost exactly a year after her other cat died. It was awful. It was a hit and run. The neighbor told me, so I called Pete to ask him how to tell her. She pulled in the driveway right as we were discussing it. She collapsed and wept. I felt so terrible for her. It's been a hard month for all of us in the compound. Thank God we have each other to lean on. It's a tight little group back here. We've all been super busy, but we always stop to comfort each other...

Birthday Bash

Well, I got into the first wreck I've had in eight years last night. Scott and I were leaving my friend Liz's birthday party (which was awesome!)and got nailed by this girl making an unprotected left at Nutwood and Chapman. She begged us to not call the cops, and promised to pay for the damage, please don't call insurance, blah blah blah. I felt bad for her because she was just a kid. Yeah I know that your 20s are an adult, but you are pretty damn stupid for the first part of them. We should have called the cops, but I just never feel that it's a good idea to call the cops. If someone's been shot or killed, okay cops, but little shit isn't worth calling the po-po. I guess I've read 1984 one time to many. We got towed by this cute guy named Tova. He had an accent I couldn't place. I thought it was Russian. Get this, he's Israeli. I would have never guessed. I know it is stupid, but I always thought they'd sound like New Yorkers, or Eastern Europea...

Cleanse

Okay, after I finish the big rant on Scott and how I feel like he is nodding out on our lives. I was actually worried about posting it. It felt like a little too much like airing dirty laundry. (BTW has anybody thought about what airing your family's dirty laundry would look like? Does that mean there are underwear with poop stains flapping happily on the clothesline) Anyway, the next morning after playing with all the musicians, he decided he is ready to start applying for Masters Degrees again. He's been re-inspired. I'm excited that we are getting back on the road of achieving our goals together. He has also agreed to do a cleanse with me. I'm doing my friend's Teresa's detox class. We are using Arbonne protein drinks, and a vegan diet. I've lost five pounds!! I'm still working out, but I am definitely at half speed. I must have been really gunked up. I'm glad I'm working this out of my body. I did yoga this morning, Shultz came with. Everyon...
