Aaaaaaaaaaah, home. I love the LBC

OMG. It was hot

Dallas Bound

7/20 Dallas bound. I was waiting in the security TSA line and was struck by a definite feeling of 1984. A young pregnant Persian woman in a head scarf smiled when my eye caught hers. The yoga class on the bluff lying in corpse pose while an oblivious jogger picks her way through the bodies, chatting on her phone. The two women riding their bikes toward the beach, wearing big floppy sun hats and laughing joyfully at the sunshine. I love Long Beach. There is such a sense of community. We really felt it last night on the beach. It was a good weekend. We had an awesome time on the 4th. We hung o...
