arty-farty
I've been watching "Work of Art" on Bravo. I've been foaming at the mouth at the bullshit pieces of art these people are putting out. And I've noticed they voted out all the older contestants first.
It's like a fucking Urban Outfitters commercial. I've been coming up with ideas that I think far outstrip the pieces I've seen. I've been carrying my camera to take pictures I like around town.
I saw two kids waiting for the bus dressed like Hessians, with an awesome head banger guitar. I parked my truck and ran down the street to take a picture of them. They were sweet, and laughed when I asked to take a picture. Of course, I've forgotten their names.
I took pictures of my client's garden sculpture, a 6 ft Velociraptor named Bob. Gotta love that. I also got to clown around with it, you know--pretend to be eaten. I remember when the nature center in Long Beach closed off bits of their trails with signs that said "Caution: Raptors Breeding" They meant owls and such, but I kept imagining herds of velicoraptors running through the trees.
Josh has been taking more pictures too. We ran to the street and took pictures of the "Maxfield Parrish" sky. I saw a witch flying, and a freaky skull headed animal. I've been feeling so weird lately. I've been having moments of artistic fancy. I'm thinking of cleaning out the garage and using it as a art studio. I'm ready to put things out in the world again. I'm editing my book and plan on sending it to that agent I met at the CA writers org.
